Dr. Zina Byrd, DNP, FNP-BC

Hello Beloveds,

I am Dr. Zina Byrd, DNP, FNP-BC. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. I began my service in nursing when I was 8 years old. I accompanied my grand mother on numerous occasions assisting her when she visited and provided care to those who were sick and shut in. Her words of wisdom,

"Empathy before sympathy; when you cannot place yourself in another's shoes when providing care, it is time to quite nursing."

Following her advice, along with my own yearnings, dreams and desires, I began my educational journey.

My desire, to provide primary health care to patients using a holistic approach which addresses physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the family, has led to the creation of His Beloved Family Practice.

Dr. Larry T. Wilson specializes in Family Medicine, Family Practice with more than 10 years of experience.  He has won multiple awards for care given to his patients.  He is consistent with treating his patients with compassion, empathy, and providing quality care that surpasses expectations.

A family practitioner is a doctor who specializes in caring for people of all ages, at all stages of life. Rather than focusing on the treatment of one disease or patient population, family practitioners are often the doctors that people see for their everyday ailments, like cold and flu or respiratory infections, and health screenings. When necessary, family practitioners will provide referrals for conditions that require the expertise of another specialist. The doctors may also provide physicals, inoculations, prenatal care, treat chronic diseases, like diabetes and asthma, and provide advice on disease prevention.
